How to send from Outlook
Important: Outlook does not accept pasted raw HTML code. Instead, open your downloaded file in a browser, copy the rendered email visually, then paste it into Outlook. All formatting will carry across.
Click Download .html to save your email file to your computer.
Open the file in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge — double-click it, or drag it into an open browser tab.
Press Ctrl+A to select all, then Ctrl+C to copy (Mac: Cmd+A, Cmd+C).
Open Outlook and create a New Email. Click inside the message body and paste with Ctrl+V.
Your formatted email appears in Outlook. Add your recipients, confirm the subject line, and send.
Tip: Always send a test to yourself first before your main send. Check it on both Outlook desktop and mobile if you can.
On images: Avoid embedded images where possible. If using image URLs, recipients will need "Download Images" enabled in their Outlook settings to see them.
Background colour: If the sand/warm grey page background doesn't appear after pasting, you can set it manually in Outlook:
In the new email window, click Options → Page Colour → More Colours…
Switch to the Custom tab and enter the hex code:
Click OK — the background will update immediately.
Note: this step is only needed if the background colour is important to you. The email content will look correct regardless.
